Hey there! It’s Charlie O’Shields, back with another episode of Sketching Stuff! For this episode, I’ve pulled together what seemed at first like a random bit of stories, but there’s still a lovely theme there. As most of you know, but it might bear repeating if not, these are posts that have appeared on my blog at Doodlewash.com. I call them rambles, because they are written in the moment and without any editing. So, the topics tend to bounce all over the place, but sometimes, there’s a few posts that stand out a bit more.

I select posts based on the reaction from those who read them, so if you also read my posts, then thanks for helping make this podcast possible! Previously, I’ve changed the opening to past tense, but in some cases, a post was written in a way that it doesn’t make it possible. For example, there’s a segment in this episode where I talk about just returning from Paris, but that actually happened last year. Rather than skip those particular posts, I’m including some anyway as many liked the story that appeared. And it’s personally fun to go back and read those stories again for the first time in a long time. So many things and thoughts have occurred to me on the lovely art journey. So, join me for another time-bending trip through a series of stories that happened while sketching lovely life.

  1. Thank you, Charlie! There aren’t many mornings where I can hop from Big Wheels to Pirate ships from the comfort of my lounging chair. It adds definite spice to the day!

    1. Aww yay! Glad you like my winding journey! hehe… true… it’s not your ordinary podcast to be sure! Thrilled you’re enjoying it! 😃💕 Thanks, Sandra!

  2. I am so glad I joined the group. Painting every day [or most days] has been the best lift Ive had for a long time
