Hello again! It’s Charlie O’Shields, back with another episode of Sketching Stuff! It’s been over a year now since I started this podcast and there have been several stories that I kept meaning to share, but always got pushed off to the side. I found a little list of them recently and so I decided to share them now! When put together they don’t fully fit one particular holiday or theme, so I’ve decided to just create my own season of sorts.

There’s nothing better than drawing and painting each and every day, save getting the chance to tell stories in the process. When I sit down to write, I truly just type whatever thoughts come to mind. What I’ve loved is that these thoughts from the heart have resonated with so many of you. This has never really been simply my story. It’s the story of life as I see it, sure, but I hope you see many similarities with your own life and journey. Though we’re each very unique and different, there’s still quite a lot that we all have in common. Though we’re each very unique and different, there’s still quite a lot that we all have in common. So, I hope you’ll relax and join me now as together we celebrate Sketching Season.

    1. Thank you so much, Mary for your comment! I truly appreciate it! 😃💕 Thrilled you enjoyed the podcast. I adore daily sketching. Not everything is a masterpiece, of course, but it’s so much fun!

  2. Hi Charlie, I love your enthusiasm & would enjoy listening to your podcast but I hate the the background music, ALL
background music, so distracting & stressful. I wonder if other fans feel the same ! Otherwise, keep up the good work !

    1. Thanks so much, Sonia! 😃💕Glad you enjoyed this, despite the background music. Actually, haven’t had that complaint lately. Early on it was much more distracting. But I wanted to create something more than a voice mail message since it’s not an interview podcast like most… hehe… so these have a little more production added to them and I could probably tweak the background more as I learn more about that kind of stuff. 😊

  3. Enjoyed hearing this episode! I got all excited a couple of days ago because I actually found some little tiny acorns that the squirrels left behind. And, my husband still brings me a bird feather if he finds one on the ground. Each bit of nature is so unique and such a joy to observe!!

    1. Aww yay! Thrilled you enjoyed this one, Mary! 😃💕Yay to that. I love that your husband brings you a feather. Yeah… nature is truly incredible and interesting! Especially the little things!
